Mental health expertise

Parkview psychiatrists and other mental health professionals are well regarded in the region for their expertise. They work collaboratively with other healthcare facilities, nursing homes, schools and law enforcement officials to provide appropriate treatment for individuals with mild to acute mental illnesses. Members of the Fort Wayne Police Department’s Crisis Intervention Team receive training on dealing with children, adolescents and adults in emotional crisis; the youth training program was developed by a Parkview Behavioral Health psychiatrist nationally recognized by the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) for her quality practice and service to people with mental illness and their families.

Parkview Behavioral Health is a licensed Medicare and Medicaid provider. Most major insurance plans are accepted.
